Adriana Márquez, known as Black Drop and originally from Venezuela, commenced her artistic journey as an apprentice in San Cristóbal under the guidance of Joshua Gomez. Upon acquiring foundational knowledge, she traveled extensively throughout Venezuela, engaging with various artists across different regions. She pursued formal art studies at the Armando Reverón Art School in Caracas. Motivated by the political challenges in her homeland, she relocated to foreign countries before ultimately settling in Copenhagen, where she advanced her tattoo career and later continued her art education at "Aarhus Kunstakademi".

Proper piercing aftercare is vital for healing and preventing complications. Always wash hands before touching your piercing. Clean 1-2 times daily with sterile saline solution (0.9% sodium chloride wound wash); spray directly or apply with clean gauze, then rinse with water and pat dry with paper towels.
Avoid touching, twisting, or rotating your jewelry. Do not use harsh chemicals like alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or ointments, as they hinder healing. Protect your piercing from trauma—no snagging or excessive movement. Maintain good hygiene: use clean bedding and wear breathable clothing. Avoid submerging the piercing in unhygienic water (pools, hot tubs, lakes) during healing.
Leave the initial jewelry in for the entire healing period; removing it can lead to closure or infection. Normal healing involves some redness, swelling, and clear/whitish discharge. Contact your piercer or a doctor if you notice excessive pain, spreading redness, significant swelling, or thick, foul-smelling discharge. Follow your piercer's specific instructions for your piercing type and its unique healing timeline. Patience and consistent care are key to a healthy, well-healed piercing.

Booking Confirmation & Prepayment: All tattoo and piercing appointments require a non-refundable prepayment to secure your booking slot. This prepayment confirms your commitment to the appointment and covers the artist's/piercer's time for consultation, design, and holding your spot. Tattoo Appointments: A prepayment of 800 DKK is required for all tattoo bookings. Piercing Appointments: A prepayment of 500 DKK is required for all piercing bookings. The prepayment will be deducted from the total cost of your tattoo or piercing on the day of your appointment.
You may reschedule your appointment free of charge if you notify us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. To reschedule, please contact us by [state preferred method: phone/email/online portal] during our business hours. If you reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, or fail to show up for your appointment, your prepayment will be forfeited, and a new prepayment will be required to book another appointment.
If you do not arrive for your scheduled appointment without prior notification (no-show), your prepayment will be entirely forfeited. A new prepayment will be required to book any future appointments.
All prepayments are non-refundable. Once a prepayment is made, it cannot be returned. This policy applies to all circumstances, including but not limited to, cancellations (even with more than 24 hours' notice), changes of mind, or if you decide not to proceed with the tattoo or piercing. If you cancel an appointment (even with more than 24 hours' notice), your prepayment will not be refunded. However, if proper notice is given (24+ hours), you will retain the option to reschedule your appointment using the existing prepayment.
For tattoo appointments, initial design consultation is included. Significant design changes requested on the day of the appointment, or excessive design revisions, may require additional fees or rescheduling, potentially forfeiting your prepayment if a new booking is needed. We encourage clear communication of your ideas during the initial consultation.
Clients must be at least 18 years old for tattoos (photo ID required). For piercings, age requirements vary by piercing type. Clients under 16 for piercing may require parental consent and presence (photo ID for both minor and parent/guardian required). Please inquire about specific age requirements for your desired piercing. If you do not meet the age requirements or fail to provide valid ID, your appointment will be cancelled and your prepayment forfeited. Recently, I've embarked on an exciting new path, crafting illustrations for upcoming animation projects and book covers. One such project, writed by the talented Maria Zuri, was brought to life in Denmark and published by "Byens Forlag."
I really enjoyed this book, and it's made me excited to pursue other illustration opportunities and projects.
